Master of Science in Psychology
Gain a comprehensive understanding of psychology.
ACU’s Master of Science in psychology degree was created for students desiring to obtain a graduate-level degree that provides a knowledge of psychology rather than one that emphasizes the practitioner orientation of clinical, counseling, or school psychology.
Develop your knowledge of the human experience.
This program combines scientific scholarship, relevant clinical training and a Christian worldview to prepare you for professional work in education, non-profit management, research, ministry, or for further study in a Ph.D. program.
This 36-credit hour resident graduate program in psychology is designed to be completed in 3 semesters but can be taken part-time. It offers:
- Courses in Clinical Research Methods, Psychology, Multivariate Statistics, and electives that you choose towards your own career goals. Many of our students combine this with other graduate programs such as Communications or Bible, as 12-hours may be taken outside of the department.
- Optional thesis track.
- Intentional professor/student ratio to enable academic and pedagogical mentoring.
- No GRE required.
