ACU’s newest edition to the health sciences field, The Master of Science in Strength, Conditioning, and Human Performance (MSSCHP), further emphasizes the profession of coaching as a service to others.
This program uses NCAA Division I level standards and Christian leadership mentalities to prepare students for stewarding others in their desires to lead a healthier lifestyle and conquer fitness milestones.
A strategic culmination of in-person coursework, local internship opportunities, and high-level certification eligibility will equip students to become seasoned professionals in the athletic community.
Program Highlights:
This 36-credit hour program is designed to be completed in 2 years (24 months.) It offers:
- Academic courses in Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Strength and Conditioning in Rehabilitation, Ethics in Sport, and more. Summer coursework options available.
- Eligibility to sit for the NSCA exam and the CSCCa exam, the highest level of certification in this field.
- Internship opportunities in NCAA programs, institutionally owned gyms, and privately owned gyms.
